The Bull Dog Alumni Association has named Scott Seavers as the Outstanding Teacher of the Year for the 2021-2022 school year. A business teacher, he receives a $1,000 honorarium as a token of our appreciation.

Seavers has been employed with the Bartholomew Consolidated School Corporation as a teacher at North since 1995. A graduate of Ball State University, he has taught a variety of business classes, including college-level courses, for students planning to continue their post-high school education. In addition to teaching, his responsibilities have included service on a number of committees, oversight and guidance for Senior Projects, as well as coordinating job placement for students. Since 2008, Seavers has served as the Varsity Girls Golf Coach at North, as well as an advisor/sponsor with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

The Bull Dog Alumni Association congratulates Mr. Seavers and wishes him all the best for continued success.

Students had an opportunity to nominate teachers from criteria such as ability to motivate students, positive and supportive classroom climate, thorough and timely grading of assignments, high expectation of students, creativity of assignments and strong relationships with students, parents and colleagues.
