James K. (Jim) Paris

Jim is a University of Cincinnati graduate with a B.S. degree in architecture. He has experience with a variety of architectural firms, including Principal Partner of Paris/Bingham Partnership.

Jim was a lecturer at the University of Wisconsin, continuing educational series. He received the National Award of Excellence for Essex Casting, the National Award of Excellence for Columbus Bank & Trust, and Excellence in Development for Metropolitan Development Commission of Indianapolis.

His buildings of note include the Columbus Pump House, Columbus fire station #1, and Cleo Rodgers Memorial Library addition.

Jim is an outstanding community service member, including Rotary Club officer, Visitor’s Center board, Area Planning Commission, Bartholomew County Building Corporation, Board of Zoning Appeals, and City Hall Facilities Committee.

He is also known for his artwork – both pen and ink drawings and watercolor.
